Chief Of Papase Formally Announces Mother’s Death

The Chiefs, elders and the entire family of the Papase Traditional Area in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra region have announced the passing of their beloved mother, Madam Korkor Sampah.

The late Madam Korkor Sampah who was the mother of the Chief of Papase, Nii Komey Papa Asa III.

She is credited for being pivotal in the area’s development and sought for the welfare of her people.

The late Madam Korkor Sampah was born on February 26, 1917 at Dome Faase in the Ga West Municipaly.

She was a petty trader and a farmer respectively who played instrumental role in the development of the Papase township and the Papase Traditional Area.

The late Madam Korkor Sampah died on April 19, 2022 after short illness. She was 105 years and left behind a seven children, 60 grandchildren as well as 19 great grandchildren.

Friday, 3rd March, 2023 at Papase near Adjen Kotoku.

Burial and Memorial Services:

Saturday, 4th March, 2023 at Papase near Adjen Kotoku.

Thanksgiving Service:

Sunday, 5th March 2023, at Papase near Adjen Kotoku.
